Challenge 4 Change is pleased to announce a new ‘Community Partnership’ arrangement with the Manchester Phoenix Ice Hockey Club

Through a community development partnership agreement between Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation and The Heroes Project, Challenge 4 Change is able to provide opportunities for many of the locally based clubs, groups and projects it works with to enjoy all the ‘Cut & Thrust’ of Premier League Ice Hockey in return for a nominal contribution of just £3 per person! Manchester Phoenix is providing fantastic tickets in ‘The Phoenix Community Stand’ for every home game so that local clubs, groups and community based organisations working with Challenge 4 Change can have the opportunity to enjoy all the furious excitement of Premier League Ice Hockey at the Silver Blades Ice Dome in Altrincham. Ice hockey is the fastest team game in the world and continues to grow in popularity here in the UK. So an organised trip to experience the fantastic Manchester Phoenix in action really is a great deal for everyone!

WHAT TO DO … if you are involved in a community group and would like to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity, simply select a game date from the >>fixture list and call The Phoenix Project on 0161 872 8787 to organise a group visit.

The Manchester Phoenix Community Sports Foundation is the charitable arm of Manchester Phoenix Ice Hockey Club and is dedicated in helping introduce disabled and deprived children in the North West to sport. The Foundation uses sport to engage and develop young people particularly those socially excluded.

The Heroes Project is a creative arts and social development organisation supporting the creative development and social integration of those with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions.

Formed in 2008, Challenge 4 Change is a unique, indoor urban experiential learning facility – an ‘inward bound’ centre! Challenge 4 Change helps individuals by removing their barriers to success – whatever they may be.
