Dennis Ramsdale – Trainer

2013-09-C4C-4788Dennis had a 10 year rugby league playing career with Wigan RLFC and had the honour of representing his home town club in the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final at Wembley in 1984.

Following his playing career Dennis naturally progressed into coaching, gaining an award at the highest level.

Over a number of years he coached all age ranges from juniors through to professionals.

In the 2005 season Dennis managed the National 2 Representative squad against the New Zealand A side on their tour of the Northern Hemisphere.

During his time in coaching Dennis has worked with children and young people from areas of deprivation and this has given him vital experience, which he is now utilising at Challenge 4 Change.

Alongside his playing and coaching career Dennis worked in local government for 19 years.

Dennis’s interests include the ‘outdoors’ and he freely admits that working at Challenge 4 Change is the most rewarding job he has ever had.
